For almost two decades, Let Down Studio has been my passion and my purpose. Music has always been my heart and soul, and it fills me with joy to create and produce it every single day. As a young artist, I found solace in the studio, where the magic of music creation truly comes to life. There’s nothing more fulfilling than hearing a finished track that you’ve poured your heart and soul into, with the team that you’ve worked so hard alongside. Through my journey, I’ve seen many studios put their own interests ahead of their artists’, and that’s why I founded Let Down Studio. I wanted to create a space where every artist, regardless of their background or experience, feels like they belong. My mission is to help artists achieve their dreams and take the next step in their careers. At Let Down Studio, we believe that everyone has the potential to create something incredible, and we’re here to help make that happen.
My journey into the music industry started at an early age when I received my first drum set. As like other local artists, I played in many bands throughout high school and college. During this time, I had the privilege of recording professionally at Let Down as an artist, and in 2011, I officially became an assistant engineer with the studio. Joining Let Down has helped me hone the technical skills needed to deliver the professional and industry quality sound that is promised at the studio while learning how to help other artists explore their own musical expression. In addition, I have been able to make incredible friendships with the artists that have walked through our doors. I have also been able to expand my knowledge of both the musical and technical aspect with each project we encounter, as well as my own music under the name “Broken Lungs”. With a better understanding of the recording process, I am poised to help make a significant impact with artists and help them translate their ideas into the sound they’ve always wanted.
